Patient Story
Project Overview
Curium approached Feedback with a deeply personal brief. Camilla, VP Communications at Curium, wanted to share her own experience of being diagnosed with breast cancer and how the innovative treatment developed by Curium played a key role in her recovery. The goal was to create a patient journey film that not only told her story but also demonstrated Curium’s role in the treatment journey.
Solution
To capture Camilla’s story authentically, we filmed her at her home, creating a relaxed environment that encouraged openness. Camilla spoke about the emotional toll of the experience, its impact on her mental health and family, and how Curium’s innovative treatment helped detect the spread of her cancer, allowing doctors to tailor her treatment and surgery, ultimately saving her life.
The video also featured her oncologist who explained Curium’s vital role in the treatment pathway and highlighted the company’s ongoing innovations in cancer care. Through raw, honest storytelling combined with expert insight, the film brought the patient experience to life and aligned closely with Curium’s mission.
Results
Originally created for a conference in Istanbul, the film was later published for wider internal use and was incredibly well received by teams across Curium. It struck an emotional chord with employees, offering a more personal and relatable view of the company’s impact.
The video helped clarify Curium’s role in the treatment journey in a way that hadn’t been captured before. It has since become a valuable internal tool for strengthening purpose and pride across the organisation.
