The Oxford Portal

Project Overview

Oxford University Press needed a customer journey film to illustrate key touchpoints of their new community portal and showcase its potential for marketing new products and service to customers. The video also needed to demonstrate the portal’s value to stakeholders, helping to drive support and secure future investment.

Solution

With less than two weeks from brief to delivery, we quickly mobilised our animation team to create portal mock-ups while our editors sourced stock footage to create the narrative.

By integrating graphics, voice-over, and seamless editing, we crafted an in-depth and compelling customer journey film featuring 10 characters across OUP’s global regions. The film demonstrated how the new portal encourages engagement among parents, teachers, and students and provided regional managers and school heads with valuable insights, enabling them to identify suitable products and services.

Results

Presented to senior management, the film successfully secured funding for the Oxford Portal project.

It has since become a key revenue stream and an essential platform for community-building within Oxford University Press’s English language teaching (ELT) audience.

We had an incredibly tight deadline for this project and honestly weren’t sure how we could pull it off. The team at Feedback was fantastic—managing to bring our vision to life within the timeframe.

The video they delivered not only captured the essence of our portal but also played a crucial role in securing the green light for funding, allowing the project to move forward.
