Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme
Project Overview
We were commissioned by Freshfields to produce a series of videos showcasing their Solicitor Apprenticeship programme, giving school leavers the chance to launch their careers in law.
Solution
We spent two days at Freshfields’ London office. The first day focused on filming the partners, addressing their perspectives and clarifying the programme’s purpose. The second day captured the apprentices’ stories, highlighting their experiences and ambitions.
From the content we gathered, we created three distinct films to showcase different aspects of the programme:
-
Film One: Featuring the partners behind the programme, exploring their motivations and the vision for the apprenticeship.
-
Film Two: Introducing the apprentices and sharing their reasons for choosing Freshfields and bypassing the traditional university route.
-
Film Three: Telling the “story so far,” reflecting on early successes and the impact of the programme.
Results
The result was a series of films that are truly on-brand for Freshfields, with messaging that is clear, concise, and both thoughtful and emotional, effectively connecting with the programme’s mission.
The films have received excellent feedback from both partners and apprentices and will soon be rolled out for internal and external audiences.
The video series exceeded our expectations. Not only did I feel this, but members of our brand team and colleagues across Communications felt these videos represented the firm well, as did our commitment to young people, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). We’ve used vendors in the past that just haven’t been able to meet our expectations; Feedback Films surpassed them.
